Intel SIPp IMS/NGN Performance Benchmarking Tool

IMS Bench SIPp is a performance testing and benchmarking toolset designed to provide an implementation of a test system conforming to the IMS Performance Benchmark specification, ETSI TS 186 008. It is a modified version of SIPp with supporting scenario files and a few tools meant to provide an open source implementation of a test system.

Getting started with Parlay X web services using Ericsson's JAX-WS

Monday, May 15, 2006

This Parlay X JAX-WS tutorial kit will in a quick way show you how to develop a Parlay X application using the new standard Java API, Java API for XML Web Services (JAX-WS), which comes bundled with Sun's Java Web Services Developer Pack (JWSDP) 2.0, replacing the Java API for XML-Based RPC (JAX-RPC). XWS-Security (XWSS) from JWSDP 2.0 is also used for setting username token. The new JWSDP 2.0 is one of the leading reference implementations for creating web service application and it is also freeware.

Parlay X is a set of standardized web services that provides developers with high-level access to the telecom functionality available in an operator's domain. The telecom functionality includes, for example, short messaging, multimedia messaging, call-control capabilities, terminal location and status. This tutorial kit only covers the following use cases: short messaging, multimedia and terminal status.
